My father went to Cornell. While there he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, aka the DEKE House. Among his fraternity brothers were Buzz Gubb, Bill Smith and Jack Krieger. Hal, Buzz, Bill and Jack became lifelong friends. In fact the latter 3 became Uncle Buzz, Uncle Bill and Uncle Jack. Our families grew up together. We became what I refer to as the Cornell Cousins.

While the DEKE Brothers are now gone, the cousins remain in contact.
